Winn-Dixie Trip

I spent $32.64 for $97.79 worth of groceries, saving $65.15 or 67%.

So I took a little trip to Winn-Dixie today, mainly for the meat and eggs. Here's the match-ups:

The main reason I usually just avoid Winn-Dixie is generally the atmosphere and the lack of service. I actually was surprised to find that the management at this Winn-Dixie is fairly ok. They took the free peelies a day expired (they were still on the product). However, the store itself was kind of crowded and sale things are not always well labeled, which means I have to compare the ad with what is on the shelf. Their computer system is also pretty ancient, and as such it has a lot of problems with coupons. For example, for whatever reason it would not take the $5/5 Kraft coupon, even after the manager came and tried to do it. Still wouldn't work. So they ended up wringing up one of my $1/1 coupons five more times. It was quite odd, but in the end I got the money off and the cashier was quite nice about it all. 


On a random side note, there were coupons inside the M&M's icecream and one is for a free bag of pretzel M&M's!
